Terms and Conditions

These terms apply to inquiries, itinerary planning, and travel services arranged by Heritage Travels for trips in Sri Lanka.

Bookings and Confirmations

A trip is considered confirmed only after written confirmation from Heritage Travels and receipt of any required deposit or payment. Proposed itineraries, hotel suggestions, and pricing remain subject to availability until confirmation.

Pricing

Quotations are based on the itinerary scope, services requested, hotel category, transport needs, and prevailing supplier rates at the time of quoting. Prices may need adjustment if your itinerary changes or if suppliers change rates before confirmation.

Traveler Responsibilities

Travelers are responsible for passport validity, visas, insurance, personal medication, and confirming that travel documents meet entry requirements. Travelers must also provide accurate information relevant to the booking.

Service Changes

Heritage Travels may make reasonable substitutions or route adjustments where necessary due to weather, road conditions, availability, safety, operational requirements, or circumstances beyond our control.

Third-Party Providers

Hotels, guides, transport providers, activity operators, and other suppliers may have their own operating conditions. Heritage Travels coordinates these services but relies on those suppliers to deliver their respective portions of the itinerary.

Liability and Acceptance

Heritage Travels is not responsible for losses, delays, interruptions, or additional costs caused by force majeure events, government restrictions, airline disruptions, weather, illness, strikes, or events outside reasonable operational control. By confirming a booking or using our services, you accept these terms together with any itinerary-specific payment or cancellation conditions provided to you.
